The nasal conchae (or turbinates) are curved ledges on the walls of the |nasal cavity|. The superior nasal conchae and the middle nasal conchae extend from the |ethmoid bone|. The lower nasal conchae, or inferior nasal conchae, is attached directly to the |maxilla|.
